The Tascam MZ-223 is a 3-zone rackmount audio mixer designed for fixed installations into bars, gyms, retail stores & places of worship.
The professional mixer is designed for music reproduction & announcements in a variety of commercial environments that require multi-zone audio control. Each of the 3 output channels features a dedicated volume control & audio source selection so users can play different music in each of the zones.
Not only this, each of the 3 zone outputs is equipped with a 3-band equalizer providing a full range control over bass, mid & treble, unlike cheaper mixers that only have 2-band EQ.
Offering five stereo input channels for line-level signals from analogue playback sources like media players, tuners or smartphones/tablets. Each channel has its own gain control, peak LED and level fader.
Two additional microphone input channels – with level controls, LED level meters and 3-band equalizers – are available for announcements, speech reinforcement, karaoke or other uses with dynamic microphones. When used for announcements, for example, the built-in Talkover function can automatically lower the volume of background music according to the mic volume.
